License

The house plans on this site are intended for single use purposes only.  The drawings remain the intellectual property of the designer or architect and by purchasing a plan you a granted license to build one (1) house. As such, these plans cannot be purchased for re-sale or for the construction of multiple houses or buildings. Moreover, the license grants the purchaser the rights to build the house only in the country the purchaser indicated in their ‘mailing address’ at the time of sale. Furthermore, customers residing in Canada may only build the house in the province or territory the purchaser indicated in their ‘mailing address’ at the time of sale.

Copyright

The copyright for each design is owned by the originating architect.  Your license enables you to copy and/or print your plans as often as you wish as well as make modifications to the original drawing.  You are not allowed to sell or distribute copies of the designs.

The easiest and most cost effective method is to have the original designer make the modifications for you by contacting YellowBlue Designs.  We will make arrangements for you to connect directly with the designer or provide you with a copy of the originally CAD drawings or reproducible vellum for a fee determined by YellowBlue Designs and/or the designer.

Any modifications made to the original design are considered derivative work of the original, and the copyright still belongs to to the original designer.  The sale or re-use of the modified design is prohibited.  Take note that any modifications made by anyone other than the original designer releases the designer from any liability for design defects and voids all express or implied warranties.

Disclaimer

YellowBlue Designs acts only as the selling agent for the suppliers of the house plans on this site and as such does not carry any responsibility for the quality of the designs and/or the structure built from these designs.  YellowBlue Designs accepts no responsibility for defects, inaccuracies, or typographical errors in any of the construction documents.  Further, YellowBlue Designs is not responsible for errors or defects that occur during the construction of the home.  It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that the plans purchased from YellowBlue Designs meet local building codes, any appropriate permits are obtained, and that any business or individual contracted to build any part of all of the home is qualified to do so.

YellowBlue Designs makes no warranty or disclaimer (expressed or implied) about the products, manufacturers, or services recommended in each design.  These are provided only as suggestions to the end user.

In some cases the photos or renderings of a plan may not exactly reflect the contents of the construction drawings.  As each customer has the ability to change any element of the design, these changes may be depicted in the photos provided on the site. Fundamental elements of the design will remain the same, and each customer has the option to customize their  home to suit their needs through consultation with their contractor, paid modifications to the original drawings by the original designer, or modifications made by another third party.

Ownership

All content, graphics, and other data stored on this website not expressly stated as being from another source is owned by Go Interactive Internet Marketing Inc and may not be reproduced. The content of this website may not be reproduced in any form without the express written permission from the owner. It may not be sold for profit or included in any type of archive (commercial or private) without the consent of the owner. Failure to abide by these rules may result in legal action by the owner.

Refund Policy

If you feel, for any reason, that you are unsatisfied with your purchase from YellowBlue Designs you can return it for a full refund. All return requests must be made within 7 days of your original purchase.  You’re purchase receipt (Date and Time) will serve as the official record of your purchase.

Due to the digital and reproducible nature of your purchase, you will be asked to return any files you have downloaded (via email or other means), and you will be required to sign a release form stating that you will NOT use, reproduce, or otherwise make use of your original purchase from YellowBlue Designs (in plain English that means you didn’t purchase the file, return it, then proceed to use it to build a house, get an estimate, or distribute it to your friends and family).  If you are found to have violated the release, we will pursue legal action, so let’s all stick to the honor system.
